Hilary: I'm really thankful that I get to affect people in a positive way. People need help. It's such a good feeling to know that I can help them.
Hilary: I really loved doing the character Lizzie McGuire.
Hilary:
I’m not a tramp or a whore, but I do manipulate men when I feel like it.
Hilary: I definitely don't just buy what I want. My business manager says I'm well-behaved.
Hilary:
I love getting that nervous excitement before a first kiss.
Hilary: I'm a complete product junkie!
Hilary: I can't go more than 72 hours without shopping, but I don't think I'm excessive.
Hilary: I try not to wear like sunglasses because if you wear sunglasses, if you see someone who walks into the room with sunglasses, aren't you going to look at them and think, “Who's hiding under there?” So why would you do that?
Hilary: I still have curfews and sometimes I get grounded, which I is kind of weird to me.
Hilary: I think that there’s really no way to prepare yourself, to say, “Oh, I’ve got all this going on.” You just do it. It’s like I want to be able to do all of these things, and I have to be really prepared to do it. It doesn’t really bother me, every day thinking that I’m going to have to switch modes to singing or acting or traveling, or this, that and the other. You just kind of do it. It’s just kind of natural.
Hilary: When you come to an event like this that’s kind of your own, you’re like, ‘What if nobody shows up? What if there’s four people?’ Hopefully all of these people will go see the movie [The Perfect Man] and enjoy it.
Hilary: Every week I read about myself in a magazine, about something that I haven't done or some place that I've never been or don't even know. It's just gossip, rumors, egos, and politics.
Hilary: As a child I was shy. Haylie [her sister] would be the one to go up and talk to people.
Hilary: I think ambition can be having something that you're good at and love to do.
Hilary: We're still a very tight-knit family, even though we live apart a lot. And now Haylie [her sister] and I get to work together more and more. We're really close.
Hilary: I’m pretty professional and I work hard and I kind of work like an adult. But I have my immature side, too. I like to goof off.
Hilary: It's crazy and so surreal. I feel like such a normal person, yet everybody around the world knows my music, my movie, my name and my face. It's crazy sometimes, but I'm so flattered. It's a good feeling.
